“I keep writing posts, but traffic never grows” — this plugin is a no-ad-budget way for WordPress sites to gain visitors.
NEXT+ is a mutual referral platform where websites, apps, and local shops introduce customers to each other. It is operated by us, the authors of this plugin. When you place the banner with this plugin:
- Your readers see nearby deals from other participating sites and shops
- Every time the banner is tapped, your site earns referral points
- Your points determine how often your own site is recommended on other participating sites, bringing you new visitors
Unlike SEO or social media, there are no rankings or followers to grow first. Your site becomes part of the referral network the day you install the banner.
Note: the NEXT+ referral network currently connects websites in Japan, so the deals shown in the banner are Japanese. The plugin interface itself is in English and ships with a Japanese translation; translations into other languages are welcome.

How to start
- Sign up for NEXT+ (free) and enter your site’s information
- Copy the link URL shown in the NEXT+ banner management screen
- Paste it in this plugin’s settings page (Settings > NEXT+ Banner) and save
Registration and usage are free.
External Services
This plugin connects to the external service “NEXT+” (https://www.nextplus.link), which is operated by the plugin authors, to display the banner.
- What is loaded: the banner (an iframe) corresponding to the installation token you save in the settings page is loaded from nextplus.link
- What is sent: when the banner is displayed or clicked, the visitor’s browser sends the same information as any normal web request (IP address, User-Agent, etc.) to the NEXT+ server. The plugin itself does not send any personal data stored in your WordPress site

Installatie
- Install and activate the plugin
- Sign up for NEXT+ (free) and enter your site’s information

- Turn on automatic insertion after posts, or place the [nextplus_banner] shortcode or the “NEXT+ Banner” block where you want the banner to appear

Does it cost anything?

No. Registration and monthly usage are both free.

How does my traffic grow?

Every time your banner is tapped (= you send a reader to another site), your site earns referral points. Your points determine how often your own site is recommended in other participating sites’ banner slots and in the NEXT+ AI-powered search. The more you send, the more you are recommended.

Can any site join?

Any publicly available site can join, regardless of genre. All participating sites are reviewed by the NEXT+ team.

Is this the same as reciprocal linking?

No. Reciprocal links are an SEO technique of exchanging links for search-engine ranking, which risks penalties when overdone. The NEXT+ banner is delivered inside an iframe, so it is not counted as a backlink by search engines. Instead, it introduces real human readers between sites.

No. It is lazy-loaded, so it does not delay your page’s initial render, and its height is fixed so it causes no layout shift (CLS).
