I spent many, many hours researching various social-sharing plugins, testing several, and finally went with this one (OSD Social Media Sharing) for it's simplicity and low overhead....I don't need lots of bells & whistles, just a simple way for site visitors to share content easily. This one suits my needs very well....it has some very basic, simple settings, and while it has a small selection of built-in networks to share with, they were the ones I needed anyway. There is a mechanism to add more if you need more than the default set. Initially I was only going to give this 4 stars, because there are a couple of settings tweaks I'd like to see in a future version, but I decided that was not fair - it really is a good plugin, and does exactly what it says it will do, and it does it well without adding much overhead or slowing my site's page load speed (a problem with some of the other social-related plugins). It really deserves it's 5-star rating. If all you need is to offer readers an easy way to share your content, and are happy with offering the major networks (Facebook, Twitter, G+, Pinterest, Linkedin, and Reddit, along with an email option), then this is a plugin I can comfortably recommend.

I have tried at least 10 different share plugins. Some of them were not compatible with all browsers and some them required fees to allow you to use the options. This is the beat, works so smoothly, problem solved. I can't thank you enough.

This plugin has just the features I need. Great!
