Sync for MC** solves the “one-size-fits-all” marketing problem by creating a direct
bridge between your **WooCommerce product categories** and your **Mailchimp audiences**.

When a customer places an order, this plugin checks what they bought and instantly
adds them to the corresponding Mailchimp list. It’s the easiest way to ensure your
marketing is relevant, personalized, and—most importantly—profitable.

### External services

This plugin connects to an API to obtain the lists from your Mailchimp account, 
it’s needed to show the lists information in the settings.

It sends the customer information when a new order is placed and matched the settings.

## Installatie

 1. Upload the plugin folders to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install the
    plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
 3. Navigate to **WooCommerce > Settings > Mailchimp Sync**.
 4. Enter your Mailchimp API Key.
 5. Start mapping your product categories to your Mailchimp lists!

## FAQ

### Does this work with multiple categories?

Yes! If a customer buys products from three different categories, they will be synced
to the three corresponding Mailchimp lists you have mapped.

### Do I need a Mailchimp API Key?

Yes. You can generate one for free within your Mailchimp account under **Account
> Extras > API Keys**.

### Does it sync guest checkouts?

Absolutely. As long as the customer provides an email address during checkout, the
plugin will sync their data regardless of whether they have a registered account.
