This plugin may work OK right out-of-the-box and "as is", but if you know you're looking at the possibility of needing to customize a plugin to get just the right chat feature for your website... this plugin is NOT it. Even if you anticipate only slight modifications, this plugin is NOT for you. For example, you won't get access to CSS styling as you get with most WP plugins. If you're not an advanced code writer, you'll need to hire a developer at extra expense to get what you want. Can't recommend this plugin because Support is NOT all that helpful. Best advice... skip it!

I really love this plugin, it's the only one that works and is compatible with buddypress. I've never had any issues with the plugin, so never had to reach out to them. Due to the pandemic, however, I had to pause my subscription. They took a day or two to respond to it, but I was able to cancel it. They didn't put up a fight about it either. Not saying you should cancel, unless you want to. I'm just saying that when the time comes to put it back up again, then this is the only chat plugin I would use. Love it!

Their support is not responsive, don't rely on them if you plan to use this to support any important events / sessions.

Was happy with the plugin until my trial expired. Tried to contact them to upgrade my account so I could purchase a higher tiered plan - contact form broken. Emailed them. Took 2 days to get a response of them forwarding to someone else to help. Another couple of days go by and nothing. Found another plugin in meantime so my site could be functional. Liked the other plugin better and its FREE. Support also responded within 15 min! Emailed iflychat to cancel my upgrade request and they got back to me in 10 min. I really tried to give them my money. but oh well.

fixed the rest api issue by installing php session plugin This chat is worth I wish it had more features and uptime 🙂 also sound does not work on safari browser please fix them!
